Help Aqua clear power filter?

I am using an Aqua clear 110 (500) in a tank of 40 liters of reef works well enough, not want to release much money in a sump / refugium yet … you must use the most bio bag that comes with the configuration???

I just started to use the AquaClear 110 of some of my deposits, my settings are all freshwater though. You should be able to use the Bio-Max with a setup program also saltwater. Aquaclears The good thing though is that the way the media basket is the installation is very easy to customize to your needs. You can get different foam block for mechanical fine filtration, may decide not to use the carbon that comes with the filter and use more bio-media is a provision very good. Bio-Wheel filters running in many of my tanks, but have now started to get rid of them and replacing with the Aquaclears. I also like that you can change the flow rate of the filter, in my opinion, these are some of the best power filters on the market. As far as I know, salt water settings (in terms of bio-filtration), is not very far from a tank Freswater, that's what makes me believe that Bio-Max should be fine. Hope this helps, if you have any questions, feel free e-mail me. MFK
