koi pond filtration
"I can publish my koi fish in Lake Ontario? PLZ HELP!?

I have two small koi fish done last year for my 10 gallon aquarium. However, these fish are HUGE and have very little room to move. MUCH SHlT also clog the filtration and every third day. My question is if I take them to a lake or pond release them there? Is it humane and secure? Or is there some other place that can set them free?

NO! Release any carp, as in the natural environment is not only dangerous and irresponsible, it is also ILLEGAL! You can get a fine and very damaging effects on the ecosystem. PLEASE find some other alternative. Contact your local PetStore and see if any of them have the koi. Koi can be costly and fish may be happy to take as a donation, or give store credit for them. At least, put an ad on Craigslist up for free and koi will probably be someone in your area who will be happy get a free pair of koi. I hope this serves as a lesson to all for research of its kind that is before you get them! Koi do not belong to 10 gallons aquarium!
