koi pond pump
What is the recommended dose of filtration for koi pond?

I have a 1700 gallon koi pond and a new pump of 560 gallons per hour for my filtration system. Is it too much? Should I adjust the pump to do so at a slower pace? At what rate is appropriate? Thanks!

If something is too small, but much depends on what type of filter is running. If your picture of an underwater filter, the pump will be fine. If you're using to an external system, waterfall, etc, will not run enough. Remember that for every foot of height that is uploaded, you lose 100 liters per hour. The only way to know prove with certainty.
