Aquarium hobbyists are always careful with the water chemistry of their fish tank, because every little aspect that is crucial to the survival of marine life raising. Besides the commonly known ammonia, nitrites and nitrates in an aquarium, water pH levels are also an important factor that you as fans the tanks should be considered. Buffering capacity is the ability of water to resist changes in pH levels. Knowing the buffering capacity of the tank water should be the first thing you to do before you start manipulating its pH level of the freshwater aquarium. It is common for pH levels of an aquarium is raised by the substrate being used, and indeed add only rocks and gravel as a substrate and may generate the desired water level, although you can also opt for some alternatives to high caliber, such as crushed coral. If you want to lower these levels, you can add materials that work the same way as the rock substrates, but in reverse, as the trunk.
