Crab Live
A hermit crab can live without the small claw?

My younger Petrie lost his grip on power, possibly in a fight with another crab called Sebastian. For me, I'm not sure what to do. I'm not even sure if a hermit crab can live without it smallest of the hoof.

Yes you can. if stored in appropriate conditions, which will grow in the next moult. if you fight against this phenomenon may be a good idea to separate them. other reasons for the loss of a limb may be due to less than ideal conditions in the crabitat. It should be 80% humidity, 75-85 degrees and have both salt and fresh water available for the crab deep enough to submerge the crab itself, but to establish what can go easily too. Variety of foods will help your crab to be happy and health … There are a variety of foods can eat crabs. Water should be de-chlorinated well. This Site: http://www.hermitcrabassociation.com is an extraordinary remedy and people who have kept crabs for many years. They can give you information even better than I, such'm still a rookie in this. 🙂 Good luck!
