Digital Lcd
Is there any way to get digital audio from the LCD TV that gets the HDMI DVD player?

I think there are LCD TVs that output digital audio. Are there any other method to get digital audio to the LCD TV you can connect it to my 5.1 channel AV receiver? LCD TV speakers really stink. Some LCD TVs have variable audio output (RCA). This will be of some help, but again this is analogue and therefore low quality audio.

Lots of LCD TVs have a digital audio output, but unfortunately it only provides 5.1 surround sound when the sound comes from the internal tuner on the TV. When the TV is set to any other input as the HDMI output from a DVD player, audio passing through the TV to its digital audio output digital stereo, not 5.1 surround, although the audio coming from the entrance is 5.1 surround sound. For digital 5.1 surround sound using your DVD player, connect digital audio output on the DVD player directly to a home theater receiver 5.1 / amplifier.
