Swimming is something that most everyone considers a warm summer weather activity. But when the weather gets cooler, if you have the right gas pool heater you can enjoy your pool, spa bath or hot tub year round, no matter where you live.

How Gas Pool Heaters Work

Pool heaters work of re-cycling water, so water is not hot to the touch when it comes through the jets of the pool or inlets. The heat is added gradually as water is delivered in the pool. Heat pumps, used in conjunction with a blanket of "solar" opens the door to swimming in a water-based daily 85 degrees. Like a gas heater, heat pump has the same requirements to operate. The pump should be operating efficiently, the filter must be clean, and the thermostat should be high enough to activate the heater.

Your heat pump runs on electricity. It requires 50 to 60 amps to work properly. Although more economical to operate a heat pump, heats the whole lot slower than a gas heater. Pumps usually evaluated in heat anywhere from 90,000 to 150,000 BTU's, while a gas heater is between 250,000 to 400,000 BTU's.

Common Complaints!

The most common complaint we hear about heat pumps is "my heat pump does not work!" However, if the fan is changing and it blows fresh, de-humidified air – which is working and you only have to give it more time. Another concern we often hear about is leaking. Without However, heat pumps, as well as air conditioning units, create condensation when properly functioning. So it's normal to have water leaks from the wall at the bottom of the heater.

Tips for getting the most from your pool heater gas:

Its gas heater only work correctly if the following factors:

* Your pump must be operating efficiently
* The filter should be clean
* Your Electronic Controller (PDA) should have the temperature high enough to activate the heater

Therefore, if your basket of the filter pump is full of leaves, or if the filter is dirty, or if your pump is not ready, the heater will not work. If the driver has a pool set to reach 85 degrees and water and 86 degrees, the heater not work.

One problem that has become much more frequent lately is insufficient to supply gas to the heater. For a heater gas to operate properly, a commercial gas meter will be required. In addition, a "dedicated" line of sufficient size is absolutely necessary for the heater to operate.
