Saltwater Reef
You think I should start a saltwater tank reef aquarium?

I always wanted to have an impressive aquarium, so I started a tank tropical freshwater. I've had for a year and I think it's time to move on to something much bigger. I've been doing lots of research and asked if its all worth it. Is it really as hard as they would be? Be interesting to someone who already has a tank. Thanks I get a tank 3 feet (about 50 gallons) so you know

The way we always explain my clients is "If you spend the money now on quality equipment, not spent the money later replaced dead fish. "It is much easier than it used to be, and with a great set up that will practically be on your own. There is so much to explain here, but I can give you some good leads. I recommend reading as much as possible in the cycles of nitrate and just general maintenance to the idea. My favorite sites: www.maast.org www.wetwebmedia.com www.reefcentral.com (for TX south, but still a great site! your area should have its own marine association) and a good book is "The New Marine Aquarium "by Michael Paletta, a marine biologist AMAZING. It is the perfect book for beginners because it gives only the basics on everything you need at first, not many details you need to know 4 months from now. It's easy to understand. And it has pictures! Haha.
