Aquatic Plants
How does acid rain affect aquatic plants?

I'm doing some environmental science courses in order to investigate how the concentration of acid rain affect aquatic plants like water marigold. I just need to know why the results of acid rain in the stunted growth. What to do to the acid plant or water to kill? Any response would be greatly appreciated Thanks

acid dissolves the we really need nutrients like calcium, magnesium and potassium, so their growth is stunted. plankton eat this and when there is too much to die.
