Filter Carbon
I have a carbon filter in my fish tank, do I need the bubbles?

so I have a carbon filter in my fish tank. I think it is a filter tube and bubbles go to the top. I just changed the little carbon, and now there are fewer bubbles coming out. do my fish need the bubbles?

If only one filter in the gravel, I would like an air pump and air stone and throw it in. If you have a lock on the type of filter is also new, is not needed and air pump. The filter creates agitation of the surface that allows the oxygen in the water. Air bubbles own work on the same principle, that agitate the water surface.
