Fire and explosions are a major cause of accidental death. Each year, 4,000 people a year are killed just in the U.S. and over 25,000 injured and often left maimed or scarred for life.

While the fires and explosions have a multitude of causes, three things are always required: fuel, oxygen and an ignition source. Fires start when a fuel (from paper into a wastebasket to gasoline in a tank of fuel) is ignited by a spark and explosion Next / Inferno is kept alive by oxygen in the atmosphere.

Of course, there is little we can do about the oxygen in the atmosphere, but we reduce the amount of fuel out there, making sure that areas are clean paper or trash, but what about the sources of ignition?

Many fires are caused by faulty electrical equipment or a spark from a short circuit can arc igniting combustible material that comes into contact with. We can, of course, make sure that all electrical power is off before leaving the workplace, but is it practical? And the workhorse of former IBM left in the night or the servers on the left simmering in the back room?

A computer monitor left on overnight in a newspaper in Virginia as it had been for many years, was, if not a particularly dangerous area, responsible for the total evisceration of the offices of the coast of Carolina and Virginia-Pilot newspapers such as the amount of newsprint around long enough fuel to destroy more than a decades worth of records.

Teams working particularly hazardous environments where there is a risk of explosion or fire, as the chemical factory, they must be sealed, to ensure any fault on electrical equipment did not spark. However, these systems are expensive, especially when IT has to be updated and the entire unit must be discarded.

This is why course an impractical solution for those working in environments not considered a potential risk and many companies choose to keep your money. However, these same companies spend thousands of anti-virus, spyware and firewall systems to keep your data safe from malicious hackers. However, if the entire team (one such office or factory) goes up in smoke, how safe is your information, then?

There is a solution for computers and other electrical equipment equipment (including monitors, printers), in the form of specialized campuses. These can be of a variety of food grade materials of stainless steel varieties cheaper plastic. These boxes can also protect your computer from bumps and knocks and some are even bombproof!

If you have a machine left in the night or maybe at the store from the dust and – perhaps an enclosure of land could save time and hassle of replacing not only data and equipment, but maybe the whole building!
